Carbon Merrill's racing journey began at just 15 years old under the guidance of his first mentor, Tom Sera, who introduced him to motorcycles and taught him how to ride fast. Today, Carbon proudly carries on that legacy by racing Tom's iconic #157 machine. A longtime competitor with the Chuckwalla Valley Motorcycle Association (CVMA), Carbon has amassed multiple championships throughout his racing career and established himself as a skilled and versatile rider. Off the track, he dedicates his time to developing the next generation of riders as a motorcycle instructor and riding coach. For 2026, Carbon brings his experience, speed, and passion to the Bagger Racing League Pro Stock class. Backed by the FDR Foundation and a strong group of supporters, he is eager to take on a new challenge and compete against some of the best bagger racers in the country.
